As a refrigeration consultant, Chris performs commercial refrigeration assessments for small and midsize businesses like convenience stores, liquor stores, small grocery stores, restaurants, and schools. He helps these businesses implement upgrades by showing energy savings along with available rebates.
Previously, Chris was a sales consultant for a commercial HVAC/R wholesaler where he sold refrigeration, HVAC equipment, and parts to mechanical contractors, original equipment manufacturers, and end users. He has a technical degree in HVAC from Hennepin Technical College along with a basic electricity degree with NEI.
As a program coordinator, Julia is focused on supporting the development and implementation of new energy efficiency programs.
Julia previously worked as an energy counselor at CEE, helping homeowners save energy and money by identifying low- and no-cost energy efficiency measures. She also served as a Minnesota GreenCorps member with the City of Minnetonka, where she worked on a variety of energy-related initiatives. She holds a BA in physics from Wellesley College.
As the accounting supervisor, Robin assists with managing the general ledger and supports the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting for CEE.
Robin joined CEE in 2021 with more than 20 years focused on supporting the nonprofit sector, most recently as a financial consultant focused on improving financial processes. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Minnesota and holds a BA in accounting from Illinois State University.
As an energy counselor, Anna works directly with homeowners to help them understand how their home uses energy by identifying and installing low- and no-cost opportunities and measures to save both energy and money.
Prior to this role, Anna worked in ecological restoration and education. She previously worked for Landbridge Ecological as a restoration technician and Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board as an environmental educator.
Anna holds a BS in wildlife biology and fisheries management from the University of Wyoming.
As senior technical manager, Dan consults with clients and trains stakeholders in residential, multifamily, and small business programs on what is required to create High Performance Buildings and the technologies that operate within them.
Before joining CEE, Dan accrued 27 years of experience performing energy audits and ratings, weatherization and HVAC repairs, consultations, and analysis, as well as delivering trainings and presentations for clients in both new construction and the existing buildings markets. He holds a BA from Evergreen State College with a focus in Energy Studies.
Doug brings decades of experience in nonprofit finance and accounting. Prior to joining CEE, he has held senior finance roles at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Washburn Center for Children and Minneapolis Jewish Federation.
Doug’s experience includes expertise in mergers and acquisitions, revenue-cycle redesign, process improvement, software implementation, nonprofit taxation, treasury management and financial analysis. In addition to the finance function, Doug has managed strategic planning, human resources, information technology, facilities and purchasing functions.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St Thomas.
As a quality assurance inspector, Don perform blower door tests, infrared image scans, combustion safety diagnostics, and visual inspections of contractor work as part of home performance upgrades on existing homes including insulation and HVAC work.
Don has been performing energy and diagnostic testing in new and existing homes for 12 years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in residential building science and technology.
As a help desk technician, Jaggar provides technical support and assistance to CEE staff.

As the lending manager for CEE's Lending Center, Brenda underwrites loans and customizes CEE's residential financing packages giving Minnesota homeowners the comfort and flexibility needed when making important home investment decisions.
Brenda has been with CEE since 1998.
As a software engineer, Ariel supports our IT team improving our inhouse system, CEEtrack.
Prior to CEE, Ariel worked for the Minnesota Senate as a programmer analyst, where he worked with the other bodies of the state government to redesign and maintain the senate website. He also gained experience as a computer programmer at Integrity Viking Funds in Minot, North Dakota and was in charge of developing and maintaining existing applications created help generate financial reports. Ariel has experience as a backend developer, having worked on projects including smartphone apps, websites, and custom software for corporations.
Ariel holds a BS in computer science with a minor in mathematics from Minot State University in North Dakota.
