Building Utility Cost Reduction & Compliance Summit is an update on Minnesota’s commercial energy benchmarking, strategies for addressing rising utility costs and their impact on buildings, and sustainable financing, tax incentives, and programs to support project implementation. At the 2026 Hot Water & Hot Air Forums hosted by ACEEE, CEE staff will highlight residential HVAC demand flexibility and heat pump performance in cold climates. Rabi Vandergon will discuss demand flexibility opportunities, while Ben Schoenbauer will present findings on the installed performance of new form factor heat pumps in cold-climate multifamily buildings.
