Rabi is responsible for identifying and developing energy efficient technologies, products, and services into market transformation concepts and programs within the residential HVAC sector for Minnesota's Efficient Technology Accelerator (ETA). This role involves tracking and validating equipment performance, implementing energy-saving strategies, and identifying products that appeal to end users and are supported by the supply chain.
He collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, utilities, and contractors, to understand program opportunities and barriers, and to develop and deploy efficient products and services.
Previously, he managed a heat pump market transformation program and worked on projects related to electric vehicles, demand response, community energy goals, and non-wires alternatives. Rabi holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in environmental studies from Bemidji State University.
