As a community program manager, Matthew works with city governments, community organizations, residents, and businesses to support the development and implementation of community energy plans, policies, and programs. Matthew has worked at CEE since 2019 and specializes in community decarbonization planning, electrification education and outreach programs, and local policy development for time-of-sale energy disclosure, sustainable building policies, energy benchmarking, and more.

Matthew got his start in the industry supporting residential energy audits at CEE, working directly with English- and Spanish-speaking residents to help them understand how their home uses energy by identifying and installing low- and no-cost opportunities and measures to save both energy and money.

Matthew graduated from St. Olaf College with a BA in environmental studies and minors in Latin American studies and business management.
