Katie oversees CEE’s work with cities and community groups in developing and implementing programs and policies to save energy. Her work centers on understanding local processes, engaging stakeholders, and leveraging building and community energy data to drive communities' energy efficiency priorities.

As a Certified Energy Manager, she brings an eye for data analysis and an understanding of building energy performance. In 2019, Katie assisted the Cities of Edina and St. Louis Park develop energy benchmarking policies and worked with the City of Minneapolis to develop, adopt, and implement a suite of energy disclosure policies.

Before joining CEE, Katie provided technical assistance for B3 Benchmarking at the Weidt Group and conducted statewide benchmarking outreach with the Clean Energy Resource Teams. She has a BS in environmental and natural resources engineering from Purdue University.
