The Energy Conservation and Optimization (ECO) Act requires investor-owned Minnesota utilities to help commercial and residential customers reduce energy use through efficiency programs. One way Xcel Energy meets this requirement is by partnering with CEE to provide free smart thermostats and installation to eligible commercial customers. CEE’s HVAC consultants help commercial customers schedule temperature setbacks for unoccupied times, reducing energy use and helping Xcel Energy meet its efficiency goals.
We can replace manual, programmable, and smart thermostats with ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced units if your facility meets program and equipment compatibility requirements. There’s no limit to the number of thermostats we can replace at your facility.
The program includes free ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced thermostat units, free installation, and free thermostat programming performed by a CEE HVAC consultant. There is no cost to eligible Xcel Energy commercial customers in Minnesota.
