The Webber-Camden Neighborhood has made resources available to provide assistance to property owners in the Webber-Camden community who face emergency home repairs and cannot qualify for other funding programs to remedy the situation.

Definition of Emergency:
An emergency is defined as a condition that makes a house uninhabitable, extremely dangerous to the occupants, or is capable of causing severe health problems.

About the Grant

  • Income limits apply.
  • Grant amounts from $1,000 to $5,000.

Property Eligibility

  • 1-4 unit owner-occupied residential properties located in the Webber-Camden Neighborhood.
  • Individual condo and townhome owners and properties held in a trust are eligible.
  • Loan approval is subject to credit and program guidelines.

Loan Details

  • All work must be completed within 60 days of grant closing.
  • Multiple Emergency Grants are allowed, but the combination of all grants cannot exceed the program maximum limit.
  • Improvements that will remedy an emergency repair. Eligible improvements include, but aren't limited to, water lines, sewer service, fire hazards, repair to exterior steps, railings, retaining walls, water seepage into basement, structural problems, or replacement of a furnace or hot water heater.
  • Improvements that remedy code violations and address repairs before they significantly de-value the home. CEE will determine eligibility of these projects.

The current loan terms and conditions stated, including interest rates, do not constitute a commitment to lend or an offer to enter into an agreement, and that such an offer may only be made pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 47.206(3) and (4).
