Steve is the initiative manager for the Wise Window Hub as a part of Minnesota's Efficient Technology Accelerator, a statewide program implemented by Center for Energy and Environment (CEE). He leads a team to advance market deployment of accessible and affordable high-performance windows (0.22 max U-Factor). Through collaboration with builders, contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and utilities, he directs strategic interventions including field demonstrations, market incentives, and supply chain alignment, to prepare the windows market to meet Minnesotans’ needs and code trajectory.

Prior to joining CEE, Steve worked for 15 years in Chemistry R&D, including 10 years at Cardinal Glass Industries, where he managed projects on insulating glass sealant R&D, new product qualification, and service life prediction. He holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and he also volunteers as the Group Scoutmaster for the 6th Woodrunners OSG, and as founding member of Harisen Daiko.
