he/him

As research analyst II, Nathan will be conducting diagnostic tests, installing data acquisition equipment, and analyzing building and energy system performance data. He will also be supporting research participants and helping disseminate research results across a wide variety of projects. At the Thomas E. Murphy Engine Research Laboratory at the University of Minnesota, Nathan built and operated advanced measurement systems to study ammonia as a carbon-free fuel, analyzing emissions and catalyst performance across hundreds of test hours. His work connecting rigorous lab experimentation with the real-world potential of ammonia as a clean energy carrier gave him a strong foundation for driving impactful, data-driven sustainability research.
