At CEE, Mubanga leads our end-to-end contracts management and contract lifecycles, overseeing compliance, risk mitigation, and insurance protocols. Until 2016, she practiced civil litigation under the Attorney General's Chambers in Lusaka. In that role, she attended the UN Conference on climate change, where she was first introduced to environmental law. Before moving to the U.S., she was a State Advocate at the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Building on her experiences in the criminal justice system, as a Hubert H. Humphrey (Fulbright) Fellow, she worked at the Advocates for Human Rights and contributed research to their Women's Rights Program. She has also worked for the University of Minnesota and under Robert Half. In the nonprofit area, she worked with the Mulisani Project and Women and Law in Southern Africa. She earned her Bachelor of Laws Degree from Cavendish University, Zambia, in 2011, and her Master of Laws from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2020. She was admitted to the Zambian Bar in 2013 and the New York State Bar in 2026.
