Emerson works at CEE as an energy auditor. He works directly with homeowners to help them understand how their home uses energy by identifying and installing low- and no-cost opportunities and measures to save both energy and money. 

Before starting at CEE, he worked with AmeriCorps doing environmental education with children. He graduated from Cornell College with a bachelors degree in environmental studies, with a minor in geology.
