Mariko previously interned with Minnesota Renewable Now and the Metro Clean Energy Resource Team in the Twin Cities. She also worked as a summer Access Clean Energy Savings intern at the Environmental and Energy Study Institute in Washington D.C. 

Mariko is currently a student at Macalester College in Saint Paul where she is majoring in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Community and Global Health and a minor in Geography.
