As Energy Codes Program Manager, Julia oversees energy code compliance work for BuildUp MN, a statewide program under Minnesota’s Efficient Technology Accelerator, implemented by Center for Energy and Environment (CEE). She leads a team that collaborates with design, construction, and code enforcement professionals to improve compliance with Minnesota’s commercial and residential energy codes. This includes developing an online resource hub, building and delivering role-based training curriculum, and providing third-party plan review support for several jurisdictions.

Previously at CEE, she supported the Minnesota Air Source Heat Pump Collaborative, delivering training for residential HVAC contractors, conducting modeling and data analysis, and supporting utility and distributor engagement. Julia holds a BA in Physics from Wellesley College.
