About the Loan
- No maximum income limit.
- Loan amounts up to $60,000.
- Loan terms up to 15 years.
- Financing available for 100% of project costs.
- Project may not be started prior to loan approval.
- No prepayment penalty.
- Closing costs apply.
Property Eligibility
- 1–4 owner-occupied residential properties.
- Properties cannot be in the name of a Trust.
- Properties under construction or used for commercial purposes are not eligible.
- Loan approval is subject to credit and program guidelines.

Loan Details
- This loan is secured by a mortgage on the property.
- Eligible improvements are installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that produce renewable energy for a residence and garage.
- All contractors must have a Building Contractor and Electrical License with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
