CEE's Katie Jones and Marisa Bayer will join this webinar discussing building benchmarking policies in Minnesota cities, including policy standardization, implementation, and needed resources.

From Hennepin County:

A number of Minnesota cities have established sustainable building policies, also known as green building policies or standards, in order to meet sustainability and climate goals. In exchange for financial or land use incentives, these city policies establish minimum sustainability criteria for energy, water, materials, etc. that go beyond existing state code for new construction or significantly renovated developments....

Hennepin County is seeking to help ease the implementation of sustainability policies across cities. To support this, the Center for Energy and Environment is leading a discussion to find opportunities for sustainable building policy implementation standardization among cities as well as identify common resource needs.
