Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa is currently accepting applications for young adults, ages 18-25, for an AmeriCorps Community and Energy Outreach Corpsmember position in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The corpsmember will help the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) meet the recruitment goals for the Home Energy Squad Program (HES) and work with CEE's energy education programs. The Community and Energy Outreach Corpsmember is responsible for increasing awareness of and participation in HES by conducting community-based marketing in partnering cities, businesses and neighborhood organizations.
Placement will serve as an AmeriCorps member and receive a monthly living stipend of $1,690 as well as an education award of $5,815 to use towards qualifying education and student loan expenses. Educational credits may be arranged by the placement. The service term runs from January 15 to December 13, 2018.
