Successful CEE Technology Forum

Jun 26, 2014

Last Tuesday's Technology Forum, the first in a series of forums to celebrate our 35th anniversary, took a look at the future of energy efficiency in Minnesota. The audience was chalk full of energy nerds there to learn about exciting energy efficiency technologies -- from design professionals, developers and facility managers, to utility professionals and policymakers. Spotlight presenters Steve Nadel from ACEEE and Jay Stein from E Source kicked off the event with inspiring and entertaining talks from the national perspective of energy efficiency.
This was followed up by three local energy efficiency technology experts: Rich Szydlowski from Center for Energy and Environment, Mark Brown from MyMeter, and Tim Hebrink from 3M. All three presented on a wide range of technologies, from advanced thermostats to wavelength selective window films. During the follow up discussion, these experts were asked to help envision future energy efficiency technologies that can reach the masses.

"Smarter technologies will deliver energy savings without sacrifice, invisibly making our lives better" - Jay Stein
