Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy wins Inspiring Efficiency Award

Jan 11, 2017

Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy program has received Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance's Inspiring Efficiency award for education. In collaboration with national partners Brendle Group and Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, CEE implements the program in Minnesota for Xcel Energy.

From MEEA's award announcement:

Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy service works with communities in Minnesota and Colorado to develop local stakeholder-based energy plans, and provides technical assistance and resources to implement those plans. Every community has its own unique energy needs and priorities, and Partners in Energy tailors its services to complement each community’s goals and vision. By supporting communities with this offering, Xcel Energy has helped communities access new markets, educated community members about their energy choices using local channels, and aligned new program education and outreach strategies around the needs and unique strengths of local communities.
