CEE is Celebrating 35 Years of Advancing the Public Interest

Jan 14, 2014

In 1979 the Center for Energy and Environment opened as the Energy Office of Minneapolis. This year we celebrate our thirty-five year anniversary of promoting energy efficiency to strengthen the economy while improving the environment.
Throughout the year we will be featuring stories that define CEE as an organization as well as our role in Minnesota's energy efficiency story. Take a look at the kick off blog post, The Early Years of Energy Efficiency, which features an interview with CEE's president and founder Sheldon Strom.
Also check out the interactive timeline on our 35 year anniversary page. We will update the timeline throughout the year with more stories honoring CEE’s past and present.
