Duluth Adds CEE's Energy Conservation Financing
Apr 6, 2015
Last week Duluth's City Council voted unanimously to partner with CEE's Lending Center to offer residents a wider range of financing options. This partnership will help close some financing gaps by serving people and projects that are not currently a part Duluth’s city specific financing. CEE’s Lending Center will be able to provide conservation financing to residents outside Duluth’s city limits, and offer more financing options such as unsecured loans, as well as loans for geothermal and solar projects.
“One of the reasons we wanted to collaborate with the CEE was that some of our customers were falling into gaps in our own energy loan program,” said Eric Schlacks, gas and energy coordinator for the Duluth Public Works and Utilities Department.
