Staff Spotlight: Mary Raasch
Name: Mary Raasch, One-Stop Efficiency Shop Program Coordinator
Time at CEE: 32 years
Home town: Milwaukee, WI

Why CEE?: I've worked on lots of CEE programs in three decades — and I've believed in every one, knowing our results would make a positive difference.
In Mary's words:
CEE is well known for delivering no-nonsense, practical programs and services that result in real savings for residential and commercial building owners, Minnesota communities, and energy utility companies. But none of this would happen without CEE's "leave-no-stone-unturned" research — our independent technical research is the backbone of every program and service we offer, identifying the best tools for us to use with utmost confidence.
Who knows what's next? But looking back on my time here, I have good reason to believe we'll continue doing what we have always done, and keep doing it better and better.
That is central to CEE's approach: we always strive to be better, a principle that resonates with my own daily work. CEE's One-Stop Lighting Program, where I coordinate project completion with vendors and business owners, just celebrated our 15th year helping Xcel Energy achieve efficiency savings goals at the state level. Since 2000, the One-Stop program has saved 114 megawatts and 404,000 megawatt-hours, and disbursed $49 million in rebates to 12,170 program participants.
While saving energy and improving business owners' bottom lines, the program also helps them improve their work environment with better and more efficient lighting. Right in line with the rest of CEE's pursuits, my program's efforts are no-nonsense and practical, resulting in measurable savings for everyone we serve.
