An abundant fall harvest of new team members at CEE
Energy efficiency is a growing sector of the U.S. economy, employing over 2.3 million according to a September 2019 report by E4TheFuture and E2. Although many of these jobs are in construction, manufacturing, and trades, CEE's Twin Cities offices are also home to about 150 professionals from counselors to engineers, loan officers, and more, who are also devoted to an energy efficient future.
Introducing some of our recent hires:
Cheryl Arcand, Energy Counselor
During college, Cheryl became interested in the environmental impact of energy usage and opportunities to make improvements. She joined CEE to help teach others small ways to make a big difference.
Cade Bolen, Program Assistant
Before working at CEE, Cade started his career in environmental sustainability as a canvasser and office manager for Clean Water Action Minnesota. Cade received a BA in sociology from Luther College in Iowa.
Benjamin Dannhoff, Energy Counselor
Before coming to CEE Benjamin studied earth and ocean science in Ireland, and finished his AAS in building science and energy management from Western Technical College.
Jakob Duesterbeck, Energy Auditor
Prior to joining CEE, Jakob worked as a broadband technician with Charter Communications near his hometown of La Crosse, WI. Jakob studied and received an AAS in building science and energy management at Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI.
Erik Halgren, Energy Counselor
Prior to joining the residential energy services team, Erik conducted invasive species research, worked in water and air quality testing, and was a life support operator at Como Zoo. He studied the environment and sustainability at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Brian Henning, Energy Counselor
Brian previously worked as a senior network analyst at CliftonLarsonAllen, a CPA firm headquartered in Minneapolis. Brian holds a BS in accounting from St. Cloud State University.
DeShaun James, Loan Officer
Before CEE, DeShaun had lending and sales roles with Wells Fargo, Ideal Credit Union, and Employees First Credit Union. DeShaun is pursuing a BA in business from Metropolitan State University and received his AS in Business from Minneapolis Community College.
Judy Mamai, Lending Accountant
Prior to CEE Judy worked as a contract analyst at a global aerospace and defense technology company. She holds a BA in accounting and an MBA with specialization in project management.
Cody Meschke, PE, Mechanical Engineer
Prior to CEE, Cody spent five years at engineering and design firm ISG, where he designed new HVAC and plumbing systems, and renovation projects for residential and commercial buildings. Cody has a BS in mechanical engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Jesse Sabota, Energy Counselor
Prior to working at CEE, Jesse did carpentry around the Twin Cities and was working on finishing his BA in environmental science from the University of St. Thomas. He also worked for Lime repairing damaged electric scooters.
