Name: Amanda Keith, Office Manager
Time at CEE: 6 years
Hometown: Minneapolis
Favorite school subject: Art
Why CEE?: I am committed to working for a nonprofit like CEE, supporting the ideals it represents.
In Amanda's Words:
CEE made a big impact a few years ago by implementing soundproofing in south Minneapolis through the Metropolitan Airport Commission's sound insulation program. And I think we'll become an even more commonly known name through all our current programs and services.
As office manager, I am responsible for day-to-day operations at our North Loop location. As a team member of the entire organization, I work with all departments in one way or the other, from research to operations, marketing, finance, engineering, and programs. I am the "question answerer" for our office — and given the breadth of our work, the range of potential questions from staff and visitors is huge. But I believe that variety is our strength.
Before coming to CEE, I majored in Natural Resource and Environmental Studies at the U of M, which continues to shape how I see things. From my central vantage point at CEE, I get lots of opportunities to see examples of CEE's field leadership both locally and nationally, through all the areas we touch and all the businesses and communities we serve.
