Prior to joining the CEE team, Laura gained marketing communication experience in the industrial electrical and biotech industries. She earned a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from St. Cloud State University
Deirdre came to CEE from a nonprofit where she did similar community and local government work for water sustainability and conservation. She received the 2019 Excellence Award for Volunteer Program Development from the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Leadership.
Cindy Greenwood, Director of Human Resources
Cindy has worked in human resources in Minnesota nonprofits for more than 20 years. Cindy holds a degree in business administration and MIS from Augsburg University and is a recent graduate of the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute.
Andy Hoyt, Program Development Intern
Prior to his position at CEE, Andy pursued an interest in conservation by working as a research assistant for several ecological labs and field studies. He graduated from Carleton College in 2019.
Madeline Knutson, Energy Auditor
Prior to working at CEE, Madeline worked performing energy audits for Green Iowa AmeriCorps. She attended Luther College, where she studied anthropology with a minor in environmental studies.
Andrew Olson, Energy Auditor
Andrew graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a BS in Organizational Communication and a Minor in Environmental Studies. Before working with CEE, he gained experience working in the distribution and general contracting sectors.
Martin Petrovskis, Energy Counselor
Martin graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, majoring in economics with a specialty in renewable energy systems. He worked with Madison's sustainability board to plan for rooftop solar projects on campus and around the city for their climate action plan.
Julia Wells, Energy Counselor
Before CEE, Julia worked in environmental education, fostering an appreciation for nature in her students and empowering them to make sustainable and environmentally conscious choices. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she studied physics and music.
