Nicole Kessler

Program Manager for Energy Intelligence

Nicole manages the Energy Intelligence program at CEE. The Energy Intelligence program helps small industrial customers go beyond their utility bill to find out how much and when they use energy, and provides low-cost/no-cost solutions to reduce energy waste. Nicole started out at CEE in the research department, working on projects focused on energy efficiency at the residential and commercial levels.

Prior to CEE Nicole worked as an environmental, life support and thermal control systems flight controller for NASA’s International Space Station Program. She has a bachelor's degree in applied physics from the College of Saint Benedict and a master's degree in science, technology and environmental policy from the University of Minnesota - Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

Nicole also serves on the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources.
