CEE has recently completed two projects that assess the benefits
and potential applications of wind and solar renewable energy systems
in Minnesota. CEE worked with the Minnesota Department of Natural
Resources to install 12 renewable energy systems in Minnesota State
Parks, and to develop an accompanying guidebook for park managers.
Renewable energy systems provide a number of remote energy needs
for Minnesota parks -- often more cost-effectively than conventional,
polluting options could.
