Carl Nelson has been with CEE since 2009 as the Program and Policy Manager.  Carl has over 15 years’ experience in the assessment and implementation of a broad array of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, including wind, solar and biomass.  His policy experience has focused on partnership building and sound analysis of energy policy.  He is currently the project manager for CEE’s Community Energy Services program.  Carl also works to promote CEE’s policy agenda, focusing on maintaining Minnesota’s strong energy efficiency policies. Carl has a B.A. from Macalester College and an M.S. in Technology, Energy and the Environment from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
