Bicycling Counts: Calculating the Impact of Minneapolis Cyclists

In early June, CEE will launch “Bicycling Counts,” a public mobile art installation along Minneapolis bike paths. The project is a large-scale projection of the energy and financial savings generated by bicyclists, assuming they would otherwise be driving a car. The tally of savings is updated in real time with each passing rider.

The rollout of our Community Energy Services program in St Louis Park, MN was CEE’s opportunity to pilot our new residential energy label. Since the end of March, CEE field staff have provided over 70 ratings to homeowners who signed up for an energy visit.
